Before you read this journal, please keep in mind that while we welcome people to join our group, know that it doesn't mean we are obligated to accept you into the group if we do not want to. If for whatever reason we decline your join request, we ask that you don't take it personally. We have yet to decline anyone from joining our group other than the few that didn't take the proper steps we asked for them to do before sending in a request. So please be sure to read this blog thoroughly because you will be tested before you can join.

About the Group & Joining

    This group isn't first come first serve nor does it work like Academy themed group where you have to wait for enrollments. No one can claim any single Pokémon to themselves and members are welcome to make as many Pokémon Gijinkas as they like. Just keep in mind that we are an artwork community that requires members to draw on a monthly bases. We do not require any level of drawing skills to join, but we ask that time, effort and quality are shown in your work. So if you aren't the drawing type and filling out a character application is hard, then this group isn't for you. Though if you are the drawing type, all we ask is that before you do anything, you read the following journals:

You Must Fill Out A Trainer And Pokémon Application

    To become a member of this group, you must fill out the Trainer Application and a Pokémon Application. Everything on the applications must be in color, in English and in no way are you allowed to change or alter the applications layout and colors. Now before you start filling out applications, please keep in mind of the things listed below:

    ❂ When Creating Your Trainer....

    1. You are allowed one Trainer and one Trainer only.

    2. Your Trainer must look and be 100% Human so no one confuses them for Pokémon.

    3. Your Trainer must be a capable person; no dead-weight Trainers or "Body Bags" as we call it in the group.

    4. Your Trainer cannot be younger 10 years old; if any younger he/she will have a hard time interact with others in the group.

    5. Your Trainer needs a set Gender; male or female, not both or none. Pick one and leave the creative gendering for your Pokémon Gijinkas.

    6. Your Trainer mustn't be smaller than 3 feet or taller than 7 feet. Again, leave the creative sizing for your Pokémon Gijinkas.

    7. Please out of consideration do not give your Trainer a name that another Trainer in the group already has. Please we beg you.

    If you understand and are fine with everything you read above about creating your Trainer, then here are are two applications for you to pick from:
    Simple Version -> Trainer Application v1 by SD-MM || Trainer Application v2 by SD-MM <- Detailed Version

    ❂ When Creating Your Pokémon Gijinka....

    1. The first Pokémon Gijinka you enter into the group is your Trainers starter Pokémon.

    2. All and every Pokémon Gijinka you make must be an unevolved Pokémon and absolutely no Legendary Pokémon. If you go to this journal here >> [link] << you will see a list of Pokémon you are eligible to pick from.

    3. Your Pokémon Gijinka must be a 100% original design by you and must not resemble other Pokémon Gijinkas in the group; we will not accept them.

    4. Your Pokémon Gijinka must be 3/4 humanoid; this means no Anthropomorphic and no Therianthropic. If you read through the Character Guidelines it will tell you how to make a 3/4 humanoid by giving your Pokémon Gijinka animal like ears, tail(s), wings, horns, unhuman physical traits, so on and so forth.

    5. Your Pokémon Gijinka can be any age you like them to be and age how ever you want them to age.

    6. Your Pokémon Gijinka mustn't be smaller than 1 foot tall or taller than 8 feet. Anything smaller or bigger will be declined.

    7. Your Pokémon Gijinka must resemble the original Pokémon you are creating a Gijinka of. This should be obvious of course.

    8. Your Pokémon Gijinka cannot be any other color other than its normal or shiny form. Slight changes of coloration from light to dark is fine but keep within the default colors of the Pokémon from the sprites in Ruby/Sapphire and up.

    9. Out of consideration do not give your Pokémon a name that another Pokémon in the group already has. But if you insist, please spell it differently; we are only strict with Trainer names.

    If you understand and are fine with everything you read above about creating your Pokémon Gijinka, then here are are two applications for you to pick from:
    Simple Version -> Pokemon Application v1 by SD-MM || Pokemon Application v2 by SD-MM <- Detailed Version

Before You Send A Request To Join

    Please link both your Trainer's application and your Pokémon's application in your join request. Keep in mind that all and any applications must be in your DeviantART gallery; not a link to another site or a DeviantART account you share with another member. We will decline your request if that is the case. Though like we asked before, your applications should be written in English and legible for others to read. After you send the request, please wait patiently. We cannot stress this enough. If your application has been on hold for more than a week, then and only then may you note the group or resend the request.
